Windowrie Family Reserve Pinot Noir 2015

There's no shying away from the generosity and depth here. Quite compelling for an Orange Pinot admittedly and they have found a fan in me here. It's the first Family Reserve Pinot release from Windowrie too - double win.

Grown at 950m above on the north eastern slopes of Mount Canobolas, red fruits and savoury aromas prevail but the juicy fruit comes to the fore in the mouth. Those dried herbs and undergrowth aromas have me hooked though. Vibrant fruit, charry oak and acid all skip along together. That juicy factor powers through. I'll happily sip away at this one glass at a time, it's worth tracking down.

Drink now to eight years.

Very good.
